Join us for the 2026 September AAMC GRR Meeting, taking place Sept. 9-10 at the American Institute of Architects (AIA) conference space located at 1735 New York Ave NW, Washington, DC 20006. 

The meeting begins on Wednesday, Sept. 9 at 11 a.m. Sessions will focus on legislative and policy issues impacting medical schools, academic health systems, and teaching hospitals. The first day wraps up with a networking reception and optional dine-around networking dinner for interested GRRs. 

On Thursday, September 10, the program starts at 8 a.m. with a networking breakfast, leading into a series of sessions examining critical advocacy issues. The meeting concludes at 12:30 p.m.

Who Can Attend

To register for and attend an AAMC GRR meeting, you must be affiliated with an AAMC member institution, a non-profit medical education or professional organization, or a college or university, and be designated as a Government Relations Representative. Please note that commercial representatives are not permitted to register for the meeting unless they are approved exhibitors or sponsors.
