
WELCOME SHU FAMILIES!
Family Weekend is a 35 year tradition at Sacred Heart and is your chance to step into your student’s life at SHU and experience campus together! You’ll find opportunities to reconnect, make new memories, and see firsthand what makes our Pioneer community so special.
The schedule has something for everyone, whether you’re looking for high-energy events, inspiring performances, or just some good old-fashioned quality time. We’ve planned a mix of free activities and ticketed events, so you can create a weekend that’s as relaxed or as adventurous as you want it to be. Whether you’re cheering at a game, strolling through campus, enjoying a family meal, or exploring local attractions, Family Weekend promises laughter, connection, and a whole lot of Pioneer pride!
Family Weekend Registration opens Tuesday August 18, 2026 at 12 p.m. EST
Things to keep in mind before you begin your registration:
- You will need your SHU student's 7-digit ID number in order to register.
- Registration is open to full-time undergraduate students and their family members.
- Registration is per person; you must enter the names of individuals attending before selecting their events.
- Each Guest (known as a "Registrant") and will need their own separate email address to fully register.
- Complete the SHU student's information page first, click "Next". Select all the events your student will attend. Please note, while the football game is free for full-time SHU students, you must select the student ticket in the registration process if they are attending this event. Click "Next" after your events have been selected.
- The next step will be adding additional Guests. Please fill out the necessary information, select their events, and click "Next" to add other family members individually.
- Click "Register Now" to select your events and note that all ticketed events are priced per person.
- Tickets for the Saturday Night Arena Concert featuring HANK AZARIA and the EZ Street Band, will be a separate purchase through TicketMaster. It will not be listed when selecting events through the Family Weekend registration. The link to purchase tickets will be added when registration goes live, and will be located after you complete your registration. Please note, that you will be redirected to TicketMaster.
- If you search " HANK AZARIA and the EZ Street Band " on TicketMaster, it will display as sold out since this is an exclusive show for SHU families. Please use the links provided.
The online registration process for Family Weekend will close on Tuesday September 22nd at 5pm, and no refunds will be issued after registration closes.
*As a reminder, tickets are assigned individually and are associated with the participant's name badge to be worn and presented at each event. Your badge is your ticket and it will be scanned to get access to your registered event(s). If your badge is not presented, you will not be granted access. Tickets cannot be transferred or resold between guests and we will not be able to accommodate that request.
How to modify/add or remove events from your order:
- Adding or removing an event is completed per registrant.
- To add additional family members, use the student SHU Email and their confirmation number.
- You can make a modification by clicking "Already registered?" at the top, or the link in your confirmation email.
- Make sure that you are using the correct email address that was used for the specific registrant and the registrant's specific confirmation number.
- If you are using student confirmation number, you will need to use student email address. If using a family member's confirmation number, you will need to use that specific family member's email address.
