Come experience a gathering of local growers and producers who sale and exchange whole foods and value-added products grown and created within the mountain region.
The Big Stone Gap Farmers Market offers locally Home Grown and Homemade crafts and more. Visit the market for a variety of fruit/vegetables in season, handcrafted items, and baked goods. Heirloom vegetables are a market specialty. Be sure to visit us during the month of September for Pawpaw Days at the Market and learn about the poor man’s banana, a tropical fruit native to Southwest Virginia. Weekly activities may include local musicians, cooking demonstrations and health education information. Do visit the information table when you arrive.
We accept SNAP/EBT and Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program Vouchers and Debit and Credit!
