After Hours at the Aquarium

Arrival and Transportation
All transportation departs from the Portola Hotel & Spa. You have two options:
- Coach buses will be staged at the Portola Hotel/Monterrey Conference Center Driveway to take attendees directly to the aquarium.
- You may also take an Uber from the Portola Hotel to the aquarium.
Attire
Semi-formal / business formal. Please dress accordingly for an evening among the exhibits.
Dinner & Beverages
Dinner will be served strolling buffet style, with seating available throughout the aquarium and beverages provided. Feel free to explore the exhibits, find a spot, and enjoy the evening at your own pace.
Wristband Policy
Entry to the reception requires a wristband. Please read carefully - this applies to everyone:
- Wristbands are issued the morning of the reception and handed out at the Symposium Information Desk.
- Registered Superintendents' are permitted to bring their spouse or partner as their plus one to the evening event. Please note: that sponsors and exhibitors are not eligible to attend as a plus one.
- Both you and your plus-one must be present in person to receive your wristbands.
- Wristbands are applied to your wrist at the Membership Desk. You may not take a wristband with you to put on later - it must be placed on your wrist when you receive it.
- Once on, the wristband must be worn until the reception.
- There are no exceptions.
Sponsors & Affiliates
Attendance is reserved for the marquee sponsor of the Aquarium Reception. Sponsors and affiliates who are not the marquee sponsor of the reception will not be allowed to attend. There are no exceptions.
