The William E. "Pinky" Newell Memorial Address and Breakfast
The William E. "Pinky" Newell Memorial Address will be given by Past NATA Foundation Vice President, Past District 1 and EATA Board member, M. Susan Guyer, DPE, ATC, LAT, CSCS, CES, EIM.
Dr. M. Susan Guyer is the Dean Physical Education, Performance and Sport Leadership and Professor of the Exercise Science and Athletic Training Department at Springfield College in Springfield Massachusetts. Dr. Guyer provides leadership for over 70 faculty and staff and 800 undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students in her division. Dr. Guyer has over 30 years of experience working in higher education. Dr. Guyer has been an invited speaker on issues related to the prevention of athletic injuries, concussion, and teaching, learning and curricular development locally, nationally and internationally. She is actively engaged in professional organizations, having served on state, regional, national and international boards

What's Changed!
Changes have been made to the 2025 Convention.
- The Pinky Newell Address and Breakfast will take place on Sunday morning, replacing the Saturday evening banquet.
- All awards and scholarships will be presented on Sunday from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM.
- A free live webinar worth 1 CEU will be available in June. All conference attendees are eligible for advanced registration.
- The first lecture will be held on Friday evening at 5:15 PM.

Target Audience: Athletic Trainers
BOC CEU GUIDELINES: Athletic trainers will be required to obtain a minimum of 10 Category A CEUs during the upcoming reporting period. There is no maximum limit on allowable Category A CEUs when fulfilling the 50 CEUs required per reporting period.
