Sponsors/Exhibitors - Hmong History and Cultural Studies Conference (February 28-March 1, 2025

The Orange County Department of Education seeks partners to assist in honoring Hmong American voices in K-12 education at our upcoming Hmong History and Cultural Studies Model Curriculum Conference, which will take place in Merced on February 28-March 1, 2025.

This landmark conference will bring together scholars and K-12 educators, as well as Hmong American community leaders and organizations from across the state of California. The event will introduce the newly completed Hmong History and Cultural Studies Model Curriculum, a set of open-source lessons and strategies designed to support educators in teaching about the histories, cultures, and traditions of Hmong Americans as part of California Assembly Bill 167.

We anticipate between 200 and 250 attendees at this event, and your contribution will serve to enrich this unique and invaluable educational gathering. We are looking for community exhibitors and sponsorships from organizations that share our aspirations for a California education where Hmong American stories and perspectives are included and respected.

Exhibitors will be provided table space to share materials related to their respective community organizations, learning activities, and artistic displays.

Sponsors will be granted space for tabling at the conference in order to network with scholars and educators, as well as community leaders and organizations, as they explore diverse offerings outside of presentation areas.
