SELCON 2026: Connecting Across Communities
SELCON 2026 brings together educators, leaders, and SEL advocates from across Illinois for a one-day, highly interactive conference focused on connection—between people, practices, and communities.
Hosted by the SEL4IL Alliance, SELCON 2026 is designed to spark ideas, deepen learning, and strengthen networks that support social and emotional learning in meaningful, practical ways.
What to Expect
- Choose from engaging, interactive workshops with over 3 breakout sessions
- Hands-on sessions that offer new strategies, tools, and perspectives
- Opportunities to connect with educators, administrators, and SEL leaders from across the state
- Access to shared digital resources and materials following the event
- Hear from important keynote speakers working in the field of social and emotional learning
Workshop Topics May Include
- SEL in schools and early childhood settings (PK–12)
- Adult SEL and emotionally intelligent leadership
- SEL and mental health
- SEL in organizations, leadership, and school climate
- Technology and AI to support SEL
- Research and action research
- SEL with preservice teachers
- SEL for staff and administrators
Registration Fees
- $100 per attendee
- $75 per attendee for groups of 3 or more
- Payment accepted through card or check (PO).
- Student discount of $50 available! Email info@sel4il.org for a code
- We cannot provide a refund on your registration after June 18, 2026.
