The Civic Generation: Native Youth Rising
This comprehensive civic engagement experience is designed to inspire Native youth to understand their role as citizens, advocates, leaders, and changemakers.
The 2026 Youth Convention theme — "The Civic Generation: Native Youth Rising" — reflects the growing movement of Native youth who are actively shaping their communities through civic participation, public service, policy advocacy, cultural leadership, and nation-building. Programming will emphasize the connection between Indigenous identity and civic action, demonstrating how Native youth can honor their cultures while advancing positive change within their Tribal Nations and communities.
