The New Commercial Pesticide Applicator Training Class helps participants prepare for the commercial pesticide exam. This class is a supplement to the exam study guides which may be purchased at go.osu.edu/examguides. It is strongly suggested that you review the study guides before attending this class.

The morning session covers Core.
The afternoon session will review Ornamental Weed Control (Category 6c), Industrial Vegetation Control (Category 5) and Turfgrass Pests (Category 8).
- PM attendees must choose between categories 5 and 8 since they are offered at the same time.
- The pesticide exams are offered after the New Applicator Class ends and you may register that day. To register with the Ohio Department of Agriculture for other exam dates, click on exam registration, or call 614-728-6987 (option 1).
- Those attending the morning program will receive Ohio Trained Serviceperson certificates.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:
No-shows must notify Recertification Specialists by the program date to reschedule or request a refund. There is a $25 processing fee per registrant for any cancellation including purchase orders, and a $30 processing fee for returned checks.
