ISACA-CMC 2026 9th Annual Golf Clinic and Tournament

ISACA Central Maryland Chapter (ISACA-CMC) is hosting our 9th annual golf clinic and tournament on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at The Woodlands Golf Course. 

Tournament registration starts at 7:00 a.m. and includes a continental breakfast, range balls for warm-up, and distribution of tournament door prizes.  A putting contest will begin at 7:15 a.m. near the practice greens, with a tiebreaker/playoff round held prior to the tournament (time permitting).  The event will kick off with an 8:00 a.m. shotgun start, so please arrive on time.  A fully stocked beverage cart featuring cold beer, seltzers, soft drinks, bottled water, chips, and crackers will be available throughout the day. 

The ISACA-CMC SheLeadsTech is again sponsoring a golf clinic for up to 15* members for a nominal cost (increased amount on 7/29/2026), aimed at encouraging women to learn the game for networking purposes.  The women's golf clinic will run from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Following the tournament and clinic, ALL participants will gather at the 19th hole for the BBQ BLAST luncheon, featuring slow roasted pork barbecue, Maryland-style pit beef, traditional side dishes, and a dessert tray of cookies and brownies. An awards ceremony will be held approximately 30 minutes after the final team arrives for lunch.

Eligibility/Limit/Pricing:

• Golf Clinic - SheLeadsTech is sponsoring a 1-hour golf clinic before the tournament (from 12 to 1 pm) for up to 15 women (increased on 7/29/2026) to get instruction on golf fundamentals (golf swing, chipping, and putting).  The cost is $30.00 per member and includes the lunch at the 19th Hole BBQ Blast.  Golf clubs can be rented free of charge for the Golf Clinic. To register for the clinic, please select the registration type "Golf Clinic". 
• Golf Tournament:
  • All ISACA Central Maryland Chapter members, their spouses and guests are eligible to register multiple teams of golfers at a cost of $80.00 per golfer. A valid member number is required to receive the subsidized rate.  For spouse to register, please have the members register a team and substitute their spot for their spouse. 
  • All other ISACA Chapters, ISSA members, members of Baltimore Chapters of the IIA, AGA, and CFE, and spouses of ISACA-CMC members are eligible to register up to four golfers at a cost of $120.00 per golfer. 
  • Only the individual registering for the golf event will need to indicate their affiliation during the registration process (not their guests). Participants may register as individuals or in groups of 1 to 4 golfers. We will form four‑person teams from those registering as individuals or partial groups (1–3 players). If you are registering separately but would like to be paired with another individual or group, please indicate your pairing preference.  Additionally, if you are registering multiple groups, please notify us of the desired team assignments and pairings at least one week prior to the event.
• Only credit card payments will be accepted for this event.

Giveaways/Door Prizes/Mulligans/Raffle/Contests/Awards:

• Giveaways and Door Prizes: Attendees will enjoy giveaways and door prizes at the registration desk. Door prizes will be randomly matched to tickets and provided to golfers prior to the event.
• Mulligans and Raffle: A mulligan package of 3 mulligans can be purchased for $10 per person at the registration desk (3 mulligans for $10).  Limited to 1 mulligan package per person.  A winner takes all cash raffle will be held after the tournament from the proceeds from the mulligan packages purchased.
• Contests and Awards: Prior to tee off, we will hold a putting contest on the practice putting green. The winner of the putting contest, closest to the Pin and Longest Drive contests for men, women, and seniors, and team awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers will be announced 30 minutes after the last team arrives for the 19th Hold Dinner.

PAYMENT:
Only credit card payments will be accepted for this event. Team Captain should register and pay for a team and collect from team mates individually. Team Captains will receive periodic updates including acknowledgement of team entry sent to email used in registration.

CANCELLATION:
Please know that you have until August 7, 2026, to modify or cancel your reservation and receive a partial or full refund (review the refund policy on the fees page). Refunds will not be given after that date. Reservations made after this time will be accepted on a first come, first served basis, but cannot be guaranteed due to space limitations.

To modify or cancel your registration:

1. Scroll to the bottom of this web page and select the “Already Registered?” link just under the greyed out “Register Now” button.
2. Enter the email address you used to register for this event.
3. Enter your Confirmation number.
4. Select “Modify Registration” in the middle of the page to remove or add attendees to your registration.
5. Or scroll to the bottom of the page and select “Cancel Registration”.

If you need to modify or cancel your registration after August 7, 2026, please send the request to ContactUs@isaca-cmc.org and we will attempt to sell your tickets to someone else so you can get a partial or full reimbursement.  However, we cannot guarantee a refund. Please note that if you cancel your registration, your guest's registration will also be cancelled.

ISACA Central Maryland Chapter reserves the right to cancel or reschedule this event if there is not sufficient participation, unavailability of the event location, or due to inclement weather. Participants will be notified via email if the event has been cancelled, and paid registrations will be refunded.
