Currently in his 13th term, Congressman Gregory W. Meeks serves as the Ranking Member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee. He previously led the committee as Chair during the 117th Congress, making history as the first Black Member of Congress to hold the position. Throughout his distinguished career, Congressman Meeks has dedicated his life to advancing social justice, expanding economic opportunity, and championing meaningful progress for both the nation and communities he serves.
