Quantum Benchmarking Initiative (QBI) Proposal Briefing Overview
Oral Presentation Slides and Supplementary Document Submission. Oral Presentation Slides in Microsoft PowerPoint or PDF format, along with all Supplementary Documents will be due on November 20, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. ET for all proposers, regardless of the day of their planned Oral Presentation. All presented material is to be submitted to https://baa.darpa.mil/. Questions on DARPA’s Broad Agency Announcement Tool (BAAT) website registration should be sent to: BAAT_support@darpa.mil.
- Clarifying Questions. One (1) week before the scheduled Oral Presentation, DARPA will provide a list of questions they anticipate asking during the presentation, based on the Oral Presentation Slides and the Supplementary Documents. Questions may refer to any aspect of the Proposal Package.
- Additional Slides with Answers. Proposers may optionally include additional slides to answer the Clarifying Questions in a supplementary submission to DARPA due two days before the Oral Presentation. Additional information that is submitted but that does not address the Clarifying Questions may not be reviewed. All presented material within the additional data slides is to be submitted to QBIT_StageA@darpa.mil. The Government evaluation team may not review these materials before the Oral Presentation. These Additional Slides with Answers will be available to proposers during question time (see below) but not during presentation time.

Event Participation
Registration
Registration will open on Wednesday, October 28 at 3:00 PM ET and close on Tuesday, November 10 at 3:00 PM ET.
Lead presenters will select an available slot and provide two back-up dates. These dates will only be used if something prevents DARPA or the proposer from being able to use the primary date.
All additional participants should register as a "Briefing Participant."
In-person attendance is preferred, with optional additional virtual participation using ZoomGov/Microsoft Teams. Due to space concerns, DARPA requests that any proposer wishing to have more than six (6) persons attend in person email QBIT_StageA@darpa.mil to ensure coordination on available space. DARPA does not guarantee that more than six persons will be admitted to the meeting in person without prior coordination. There is no limit on virtual attendance.
Lead presenters will receive confirmation of their briefing date ASAP, NLT November 12, 2026.
