A Century of Movement
The 100th Annual Transportation Short Course marks a century‑long partnership between the Texas Department of Transportation and the Texas A&M Transportation Institute. Since 1926, this event has brought together transportation professionals from across Texas to share knowledge, strengthen statewide consistency, and advance the safety and mobility of millions of Texans.
For a century, the Transportation Short Course has been the heartbeat of innovation, collaboration, and progress across Texas’s transportation landscape. Join us as we celebrate a century-long journey defined by bold ideas, collaborative spirit, and transformative progress. From early roadway design standards to intelligent transportation systems and emerging autonomous technologies, each era has pushed the boundaries of what’s possible.
