AHNS Accreditation Statement for AHNS 2026
The American Head and Neck Society (AHNS) is pleased to invite you to the AHNS 12th International Conference on Head and Neck Cancer, which will be held July 18-22, 2026 at The Menino Convention and Exhibition Center (formerly known as the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center) in Boston, Massachusetts.
Our theme this year is "Innovating Head and Neck Cancer Treatment through Multidisciplinary Collaboration" and the scientific program has been thoughtfully designed to bring together all disciplines related to the treatment of head and neck cancer. Our assembled group of renowned head and neck surgeons, radiologists, and oncologists have identified key areas of interest and major topics for us to explore.
You will have a chance to participate in the main conference panels, onsite courses, and hands-on labs. Some of the courses and hands-on labs require a separate registration fee to participate and you will see those additional fees listed during the registration process.
The AHNS International Conference on Head and Neck Cancer has been the world’s pre-eminent meeting for head and neck cancer since its inception in 1984. Please join us along with nearly 2,000 surgeons, oncologists, scientists, and allied health professionals from around the globe at our meeting in 2026.

ABOHNS Continuous Certification
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn their required annual part II self-assessment credit in the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery’s Continuing Certification program (formerly known as MOC). It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of recognizing participation.
ABS Continuous Certification
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the learner to earn credit toward the CME requirement(s) of the American Board of Surgery’s Continuous Certification program. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit learner completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABS credit.
American Nurses Credentialing Center – ANCC
American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) accepts AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ for recertification and continuing education credits. One AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ is equivalent to one contact hour for registered nurses or one advanced practice CNE for nurse practitioners.
Nurse Practitioners
American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certified Program (AANPCP) and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) accept AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ from organizations accredited by the ACCME.
Physician Assistants
NCCPA accepts AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ from organizations accredited by ACCME or a recognized state medical society.
The American Head & Neck Society (AHNS) has earned Accreditation with Commendation from the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME). The Accreditation with Commendation award is the highest honor a CME provider can receive from the ACCME and is valid for six years, the longest term the ACCME offers.
