NSW Chapter | Research Challenge 2026/27 Kick-off

We invite participants of the CFA Institute Research Challenge to attend the NSW competition kick-off event.
The session will begin with an overview of the competition, including key rules, important dates and the competition timeline.
Teams will then be introduced to the subject company for this year's NSW competition. This will be followed by an industry overview presented by a research analyst covering the relevant sector.
Participants will also hear from members of last year's winning NSW team from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), who will share their experience in the competition and insights into what contributed to their success.
Teams will be introduced to their industry mentors and will have the opportunity to meet fellow competitors, faculty advisors and CFA Society Australia volunteers.
The formal proceedings will conclude with networking and light refreshments.
