Visa Information

Citizens of many countries can enter Colombia without a visa.  This document has information regarding which countries need visas.

If you need a visa, the application can be completed online at the following link:  https://www.cancilleria.gov.co/tramites_servicios/visa/requisitos  

It is recommended you request a tourist visa.  You should not need a letter from GICS to do apply for a tourist visa.  If you request a letter from GICS, it might slow the visa process because it will force you to apply for a conference visa, which costs money and takes longer to process.

We encourage you to begin the visa application process as early as possible.
