About This Course

Every clinician encounters complications, but the key is knowing how to manage them   predictably. This comprehensive, two-day, in-person course equips   participants with the clinical knowledge and practical experience needed to   identify, prevent, and treat surgical, prosthetic, and biological implant   complications. Through focused lectures, real-world case discussions, and   guided hands-on exercises, participants will learn strategies for early   failure management, peri-implantitis prevention, and biomechanical   troubleshooting. Emphasis is placed on using autologous biologics, tissue   management, and evidence-based protocols to minimize risk and enhance   long-term outcomes. By course end, clinicians will leave prepared to handle   complications confidently and deliver more consistent implant success.

 Learning Objectives

- Identify common implant complications, including surgical, prosthetic, and biological   issues.
  - Evaluate risk factors and develop preventive strategies for long-term implant health.
  - Diagnose complications using clinical and radiographic criteria.
  - Practice corrective techniques and grafting solutions on typodont and pig-jaw models.
  - Integrate biologics and tissue management principles to enhance healing outcomes.
  - Apply structured decision-making to resolve both early and late implant failures.
