The Operational Health Physics II – Air Sampling, Internal Dosimetry, Neutrons, Decommissioning, Waste, Non-Ionizing, and Transportation online training course is self-paced and can be completed as time allows. The course includes 14 modules and 10 webcasts. In order to complete the course, you will be required to pass an exam. A passing score is 70 out of 100. You will have three attempts to successfully complete the exam. Upon successful completion of the exam, a course certificate of completion will be provided. Course materials are available on the ORAU PTP Learning Management System (LMS).

PTP instructors will be available via email, phone, or Microsoft Teams to answer questions and provide assistance when needed.

This course is the third of the three required self-paced training modules as part of the new blended Applied Health Physics course. Successful completion ofApplied Health Physics I – Fundamental Concepts and Detector Technologies andOperational Health Physics I – Instrumentation Calibration, Preparation, and Use, Radiation in Industry, and External Dosimetryis required before beginning this course and all three online courses are required before beginning the in-person laboratory exercises.
