Supervisors and Managers Bootcamp: October 19 - 23, 2026

The Supervisors and Managers Bootcamp (SMB) is moving to a new location in 2025 - the Virginia Museum of History and Culture! This week-long course can be attended in place of our 3 day FFS and ESI courses or as a refresher to both.  

The SMB is a five day program that includes essential skills for any new or experienced supervisor, manager, or project manager. The Bootcamp is a highly interactive sequence of topics, tips, and tools to develop and sharpen leadership skills. Participants leave armed with knowledge and confidence in their ability to solve some of the challenges that come with supervising others.

Virginia Commonwealth University is pleased to offer conference participants 3.8 continuing educational units for their attendance at this event. For human resource professionals, SMB provides 37.5 professional development credits.
