The IEA-ETS Research Institute (IERI) is organizing a three-day Academy on conducting secondary analysis using international large-scale assessment databases from OECD (PISA) and IEA (TIMSS, PIRLS and ICCS) school based studies.
This is a great opportunity for those looking to use the soon to be released PIRLS 2021 and PISA 2022 databases.
The Academy will be held in Hamburg, Germany, at the IEA Hamburg, from September 20, 2023 to September 22, 2023.
The general day-to-day schedule of the academy will include both presentations and hands-on practical assignments using public releases of these databases.
Participation in the Academies will be limited to the first 25 registrants. Participants are expected to cover their own travel and accommodation costs and will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.
ASSUMING LOCAL HEALTH REQUIREMENTS ALLOW IT, THIS ACADEMY WILL BE CONDUCTED IN PERSON. CAPACITY WILL BE STRICTLY LIMITED TO 25 PARTICIPANTS. WE RECOMMEND ALL PARTICIPANTS TAKE PROPER PRECAUTIONS PRIOR TO AND DURING THE ACADEMY TO REDUCE RISKS OF INFECTION WITH COVID-19 OR OTHER PATHOGENS.
