2026 Target Training

Welcome to the 2026 Target Training! Target Training is a premier consumer engagement training for Farm Bureau members from any state who are passionate about sharing the story of agriculture with the general public. This event occurs every other year (even years) with a focus on inspiring and equipping farmers and ranchers to successfully convey the significance of agriculture and bridge the gap between field and fork.

This year’s Target Training will be held on March 26-28, 2026, in Washington, DC. Attendees can expect pre-training industry engagement, networking and fun, motivational and educational workshops, media training, and consumer engagement action planning. Participants will walk away motivated and equipped to successfully engage with consumers at the local level.

To ensure the effectiveness of the training and the active participation of all attendees, registration is capped at 80 registrants. Register today to reserve your spot!

Target Training is hosted by the AFBF Promotion & Engagement (P&E) Committee. The P&E program purpose is to engage Farm Bureau members by offering opportunities to develop as strong communicators, collaborators and influencers who build consumer trust and confidence in American agriculture.

Cancellation Policy

Registration closes at 12:00 p.m. (noon) Eastern Time on February 20, 2026. There will be a $50 fee processed for cancellations prior to 12:00 p.m. (noon) Eastern Time on February 20, 2026. No refunds on cancelled registrations will be made after 12:00 p.m. (noon) Eastern Time on February 20, 2026. Onsite registrations will NOT be accepted.
