Erica Keays is a NY approved ​provider ​for ​continuing   ​education via the  National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage  and Bodywork  (NCBTMB 1000262).  All NCBTMB credit for the class will  be awarded by Ms Keays.​
CEH’s  ​and will ​be ​granted ​only ​to ​those ​who ​register ​and ​attend  ​the  ​entire ​class. ​No ​partial ​credit ​can/will ​be ​awarded.  NYS credit will be issued by AMTA, NY #0009.

Class Description:
Students will demonstrate proficiency in using tape in a session. Students will understand the physiological effect of tape on soft tissue. Students will understand the biological effect of tape on fascia. Students will understand the biological effect of tape on the nervous system. Students will review common conditions that can be helped with tape. Students will understand how to incorporate stretching with tape. Students will understand the contraindications to kinesiotaping.  Students demonstrate a knowledge of tape styles. 

 -This is a hands-on class, please bring your table, sheets and lubricant.

-Class size limited to 24.

We  welcome all NYS licensed massage therapists, NYS professionals who  are  licensed to provide massage (physicians, nurses, podiatrists,  physical  therapists, chiropractors) and currently enrolled massage  therapy  students to our classes. Per New York State law, you must  either have a  New York State license to participate in the hands-on  portions or, in  the case of massage therapy students, be directly  supervised by your  instructor or other licensed massage therapist.

Non-Member ​Rate: Early: ​$200 ​| ​Regular: ​$280

Cancellation:

Cancellations ​of  ​more ​than ​14 ​days ​prior ​to ​a ​class ​are  ​eligible ​for ​a  ​refund minus a $75 administrative fee. ​Cancellations ​less ​than ​14  ​days  ​prior to the class are ​not ​refundable. ​No  ​shows ​are  ​not ​eligible ​for ​refund ​or ​use ​on ​future ​classes.   ​Cancellations ​are ​based ​on ​post ​mark ​or ​email ​date ​and ​all   ​cancellations ​must ​be ​in ​writing. ​Exceptions ​made ​only ​with   ​approval ​of ​the ​AMTA-NY ​Chapter ​Board ​of ​Directors. ​  

Parking:  
Parking is $5/day in the hotel lot. This lot is located kitty-corner across the street from the hotel and directly across the street from the lot labeled “Hotel Syracuse.”

Carpooling is strongly advised and early arrival, if you are driving in daily, may help ensure ease of parking.
