The Sustainable League of Combat Robotics (SLCR) is a hands-on robotics competition league that emphasizes the use of sustainable, affordable materials, with the majority of the combat robots built from 3D-printed parts. SLCR offers a platform for students and educators to engage with STEM concepts by designing and building 1lb Antweight Class robots, competing in events throughout the year. The league promotes learning in areas such as electronics, 3D design, manufacturing, and engineering, while culminating in the annual Plastic Pandemonium competition.
Coach & Student Leader Training for Build, Skills, and Competition
Get ready to launch your SLCR season! This full-day training is designed for coaches and two student leaders from each team. Together, you’ll attend breakout sessions on robot design, building techniques, and competition strategies—then put your skills into action during dedicated build time using your team’s new robotics kit.
Your student leaders will return ready to help guide and train the rest of your team, setting everyone up for a successful season in the arena.
