Overview

The TCS Early Career AI Hackathon 2026 is a one-week challenge for final-year undergraduate students with an interest in AI, machine learning, data science and technology-driven innovation.

Participants will develop an AI-enabled solution to a real-world challenge in one of three areas:

  • Education
  • Healthcare
  • Public Services & Community Impact

Working individually, participants will define a problem, design a solution, develop a prototype or concept, and present their ideas to a panel of TCS judges and industry experts.

Beyond the competition itself, the hackathon provides participants with an opportunity to showcase their strengths in a practical, real-world environment.

TCS uses the event to better understand each participant's problem-solving approach, technical capability, communication skills, adaptability, ownership, and alignment with TCS values.

Strong performers may be considered for future employment opportunities and may be invited to continue through the relevant TCS recruitment and assessment process.

Participation in the hackathon does not guarantee employment.
