2026 COMPANY PICNIC

Omaha employees and their immediate family are invited to a fun filled day at Vala's Pumpkin Patch & Apple Orchard!

11:00AM - 4:00PM at the Bunnyville Pavilion

    WHO CAN ATTEND:

• Kiewit employee, one additional adult, and dependent children within the household

OR

• Kiewit employee, one additional adult, and up to four grandchildren

OR

• Kiewit employee, one additional adult and up to four nieces/nephews

Absolutely NO registrations will be accepted after the registration deadline closes

HOURS

The Kiewit Family Day event will start at 11:00AM at the Bunnyville Pavilion and end at 4:00PM. Your tickets are valid from 9:00AM, when Vala's opens, till 10:00PM when it closes.

ENTERANCE

You will enter through the main entrance of the admissions building.

PARKING

Parking is free! Please note that traffic can be very busy around opening time so plan accordingly.

DRESS ATTIRE

For safety reasons, please wear closed-toed shoes such as tennis shoes. If sandals are worn there are certain attractions, such as trikes and peddle carts, that you will not be able to ride. It is also recommended that you and any children in your party wear socks so that feet are covered while on jumping pillows. Always dress for the weather and bring sunscreen.

ACTIVITIES

A face painter and airbrush tattoo artist will be located at the Bunnyville Pavilion from 11:00AM – 4:00PM and are free of charge.

Every admission ticket also includes an Adventure Pass, which gives guests access to the following:

• 30 shots of Paintball
• 1 bucket of Apple Blasters
• 1 half-peck bag of You-Pick Apples

LUNCH

Lunch will be available from 11:30AM – 1:30PM at the Bunnyville Pavilion. We will have multiple food lines running, but please be prepared for a wait. You may take your lunch and eat anywhere throughout the farm. Non-alcoholic drinks will also be available during lunchtime only. Adults who requested a cider token in their registration can redeem those throughout the farm's cider locations.

Those with dietary restrictions have specialty marked boxed lunches available if you indicated that during registration. Please do not take one of these meals if you are not limited in your diet.   

CASHLESS VENUE

The entire farm is cashless, with the exception of the pony rides. 

SAFETY

Vala’s Pumpkin Patch always has security staff and EMT’S on-site to help with parking, emergencies, and first aid. The Bunnyville Pavilion will have a small first aid kit available. Dress accordingly and don’t forget your sunscreen and bug spray! 

FIREPITS

Kiewit will have designated firepits starting around 11:30AM near the Bunnyville Pavilion. We'll be watching the weather to determine if they will be lit or not.

RESTROOMS

Restrooms are located throughout the farm. Please reference the map linked below for specific locations.

• Pulled pork

All entrees are served with a bag of chips and a drink of your choice.

*Please bring a reusable water bottle, as they can be filled throughout the farm*
