Light Scattering University™
The gold standard in light scattering training
Light Scattering University (LSU) was built on a simple idea: users deserve more than just a passing reference to light scattering. For more than 30 years, this course has demystified light scattering for users around the world — pairing expert instructors with hands-on practice, software exploration, and individual instruction.
Join the global light scattering community
LSU is designed for both novice users and those with years of light scattering experience. Our students come from diverse educational backgrounds, from bachelor's degrees in biology to Ph.D.s in physics, and span roles from research and development to QC.

Who should attend:
- New light scattering and field flow fractionation instrument owners
- Team members responsible for instrument operations and maintenance
- Anyone looking to deepen their theory, troubleshooting, and data interpretation skills
- Users interested in finding new applications within their research group
- Scientists across biopharma, academia, government, materials science, and CRO/CDMO organizations
Bringing Light Scattering University™ to APAC: Singapore | Oct 20–22, 2026
For the very first time, we are bringing our premier in-person training closer to our light scattering community in APAC. To celebrate this milestone, we are hosting the inaugural LSU event in Singapore this October. If you have been looking to gain deep, technical mastery of light scattering, this is your opportunity. You will learn directly from the industry's leading experts at Waters and leave equipped with the up-to-date documentation, software, and tutorials needed to bring world-class expertise back to your lab.
Secure your spot today: Register your interest before August 31. Due to the hands-on nature of the curriculum, seats are strictly limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Can't make it this October? Submit your interest anyway to be placed on the priority list for our upcoming 2027 session dates.
Speakers

Eric Seymour
Principal Product Manager
Wyatt Technology
Eric has 25 years of experience with Wyatt light scattering. He used light scattering as a customer in the pharmaceutical industry and has spent the last 14 years in training and application support for customers across many industries. He is a true master of everything light scattering related, and you will learn from his rich and successful decades of practice.

Leo Liu
Principal Market Development Manager
Waters Corporation
Leo obtained his Ph.D. from UCLA in biochemistry and molecular biology, where he co-authored 4 peer-reviewed publications on Nature Communications and Scientific Report. He joined Wyatt technology as an application scientist and co-authored the ADC/AOC (antibody drug conjugate and antibody oligonucleotide conjugate) application notes. He is currently leading the Wyatt technology go-to-market in APAC. You will hear from his experience with both R&D and application development to market dynamics and frontier applications in the region.
