We are pleased to announce that we are now offering bursaries to eligible applicants. Bursaries are non-repayable funds given to applicants to assist them in paying for course registration fees. Our bursaries are meant to help ease financial barriers for those who need it to pursue our program.
We believe that providing financial assistance to health care professionals in economically developing nations to access continuing education programs is an essential step towards building a more just, equitable, and sustainable global healthcare system.
Our goal is to provide all health care professionals with the opportunity to gain new knowledge and skills that are essential to improving the outcomes of children with heart disease.
Bursary Value
Successful applicants will receive a bursary value in the amount of $2400 CAD which will be applied at the point of course registration.
Eligibility
To be eligible, applicants must be a:
- National of and reside in a Low-income or Lower-middle income economies as defined by the World Bank Country and Lending Groups
- Health care professional currently providing care to children with heart disease
Application Process
To apply, complete the online Application Form. Applications will be accepted until June 20, 2025 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time.
Payment of the Bursary
If your application is successful, you will receive a unique bursary code which will automatically apply your bursary funds at the point of course registration.
Processing and Decisions
There are a limited number of bursaries available. Applications are reviewed and rated anonymously by a nominated panel. The panel will reach a consensus on the applications and the bursaries will be awarded to the applicants thought to benefit most.
