Immersion Program In Value-Based Health Care

The Immersion Program in Value-Based Health Care includes two days of facilitated discussions and workshops around the implementation and practice of value-based health care. With a behind-the-scenes look at our very own UT Health Austin Musculoskeletal Institute, we explore the benefits and challenges of implementing value-based health care in the current health system. The Musculoskeletal Institute approaches musculoskeletal care with a team of experts comprised of specialty-trained advanced practice providers, including nurse practitioners, physician assistants and chiropractors; psychiatrists; physical therapists; dietitians; behavioral health trained social workers and orthopaedic surgeons. Through condition-based integrated practice units, the team diagnoses and treats musculoskeletal conditions spanning every area and anatomical region, with an emphasis on optimizing the outcomes that matter to patients.
