This advanced seminar provides a comprehensive review of the physiological, biochemical, and nutritional foundations of gastrointestinal (GI) health, with a focused exploration of parasitic and microbial influences on the digestive and immune systems.

Participants will examine how impaired gut barrier integrity, dysbiosis, and parasitic stress contribute to systemic inflammation and chronic illness.

Evidence-informed strategies for nutritional and botanical support will be discussed, emphasizing the clinical application of Standard Process® and MediHerb® products. Through integrative case analysis and practical clinical frameworks, attendees will gain the knowledge and tools necessary to develop individualized care plans that restore digestive function, promote microbial balance, and enhance detoxification pathways.

Attendees will learn to:

 

  • Analyze the mechanisms by which gut barrier dysfunction dysbiosis, and parasitic infections influence systemic physiology and immune modulation. 
  • Differentiate between key presentations of GI compromise, including inflammation, malabsorption, and parasitic load, using clinical and functional assessment tools. 
  • Evaluate evidence-based nutritional and botanical interventions that support intestinal integrity, microbial balance, and detoxification.
