International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS), in collaboration with Outdoor Pursuits, will be taking a group of international students on a Hike to Chautauqua Park.

Join us as we explore the trails right out our backdoor! Meet other international students and learn tips for planning a successful day hike.

Participants must be able to carry a 15lb daypack while hiking up to five miles on rocky and variable terrain.

The hike will take place the morning of September 20th. ISSS will cover 75% of the cost of the trip. Students must pay the remaining 25%, or $7.50, to reserve their place on the trip. Outdoor Pursuits will provide hiking equipment, expert guides and transportation.

There will be a mandatory pre-trip meeting on Thursday, September 17th from 6-6:30pm.

Outdoor Program trips and courses are official functions of the University of Colorado at Boulder, and therefore all University policies apply. Illegal drugs, marijuana, and alcohol are expressly prohibited.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Registration fees are non-refundable. We will not be able to provide any refunds or transfer registration to another student. If you registered and are no longer able to attend, please email isss@colorado.edu.
