2026 CAGT Pre-Con

New this year - CAGT Pre-con Workshops! We can't begin to express how excited we are to offer pre-conference workshops at our 48th Annual CAGT State Conference! These workshops will share various ways to develop skills and qualities, and foster relationships within our extraordinary and diverse gifted youth.
We are offering four 2-hour workshops to choose from. These sessions will delve deeper into their topic and provide a more interactive and hands-on experience for our attendees. Our presenters will be sharing topics from effective warm-ups to boost your math lessons; using LEGO® to nurture affective needs; fun ways to grow your gifted writers; and how to identify 2e students qualitatively. When you register, you will be able to select the workshop of your choice. We are sure there is something for everyone.

If you are checking in at the Embassy Suites on Sunday evening, please enjoy the hotel's Manager's Reception, then you can come join us at Creativity Night to let your creativity flow, have fun with friends, and make new ones. Everyone who has attended Creativity Night at previous CAGT conferences has LOVED it! You can drop into this event anytime between 7:30 and 9:00 p.m., and it again promises to be a fun and productive evening. Creativity Night is FREE and desserts will be served! This year's crafts will cultivate your extraordinary creativity!
