Writing the Next Chapter: Leadership. Learning. Systems. is a call to action for every professional working at the intersection of domestic violence prevention, response, and recovery.
The story of this work is still being written — and the chapter we author together matters. This year's Summit brings together 300 professionals from across the region for a full day of expert-led sessions, multidisciplinary conversation, and community connection. Social workers, healthcare providers, educators, attorneys, advocates, and law enforcement will gather to sharpen their skills, strengthen our systems, and recommit to the coordinated community response that survivors deserve.

Sarah Galgano
Senior Project Specialist, Gieger Institute
We are honored to welcome Sarah Galgano, Senior Project Specialist with the Geiger Institute, as the opening keynote speaker for this year’s Willow Summit.
Sarah works with communities across the country to strengthen response systems, implement homicide reduction strategies, and improve outcomes for survivors of intimate partner violence. Her opening session will explore how coordinated, community-wide efforts can increase survivor safety — from evidence-based lethality assessment to the creation of the Willow Family Justice Center.
This session will celebrate the commitment of Monroe County stakeholders and offer a powerful reminder of what becomes possible when a community stands together for safety, justice, healing, and hope.
