Getting the definition of a site matters a lot.

 Have you ever wondered (or been frustrated) by the definition of a “Site”? The definition of a “Site” can have many implications and there can be different perspectives. From waste/spoil re-use, to planning, managing environmental impact plumes, and due diligence or even property transactions… its critical to get right.

Ross will discuss the definition of a Site with concrete examples, from:

• An auditor perspective/waste management perspective;

• EPA’s definition of a site for potential material reuse;
• The context in terms of environmental impact plumes; and,
• The context in terms of due diligence/property transaction perspective.

Ross will also unpack the concept of “Contaminated Site” in its entirety. This topic would be of interest to everyone including especially, consultants, developers, and planners, who have to deal with contaminated sites from assessment, divestment, and development perspectives.

He is an accredited Site Auditor and CEnvP (SC) with a keen interest in sustainable remediation.He is known for his strong and effective risk communication and post-graduate educational skills.
