The mission of the Dementia Care Collaborative (DCC) is to optimize dementia care for patients and families living with and navigating dementia. This 6-part series is designed for the healthcare team with the goal of bringing cutting edge information, best practices, and medical and research advances in caring for patients with dementia and their caregivers.

At the end of this activity, the team will be able to:

  • Describe, define, and differentiate the different types of dementia diagnoses.
  • List normal cognitive changes that occur in normal aging.
  • Articulate the advances in identification of disease pathology discussed.

NOTE: Each session will designate the appropriate learning outcomes for that specific session.
