COURSE OVERVIEW
This course is designed to help K–12 educators build sustainable systems that improve efficiency, reduce administrative workload, and enhance student learning. Participants will explore practical strategies for lesson planning, assessment, communication, classroom organization, and differentiation while learning how to use artificial intelligence responsibly to streamline routine tasks. Throughout the course, teachers will develop a personalized toolkit of workflows, templates, and AI-supported practices that save time, support sound instructional decision-making, and create more opportunities to focus on meaningful teaching and student engagement.

Joanna Karet, PhD is an Online Assistant Professor at Colorado State University - Global Master's of Science in Teaching and Learning Program. She was a Visiting Research Professor with the University of Alaska Anchorage Center for Alaska Education Policy Research and holds an M.S. in Physiology/Biology and a B.S. in Kinesiology. Dr. Karet holds a PhD in education and works as a researcher in the area of adult education and training.
