Summary - Gas in India 2026

The 26th Annual Conference on Gas in India will examine the evolving landscape of India’s natural gas sector and its role in the country’s energy transition. With natural gas currently accounting for around 6% of India’s energy mix, against the government’s 15% target for 2030, the sector is at an important stage of infrastructure expansion, supply diversification and demand growth.
