Invitation: OECTA’s First Indigenous Gathering

OECTA invites Indigenous members who identify as First Nations, Métis, and Inuit to join us for our first Indigenous Gathering on November 2, 2026.

This gathering is an opportunity to come together in community, connect with other Indigenous members, share experiences and perspectives, and help shape the ongoing work of Indigenous inclusion and reconciliation within OECTA and Catholic education.

The program will offer opportunities to connect, learn, share, and engage in meaningful conversations on topics including reconciliation, Indigenous perspectives on wellness, and building stronger connections within our community.

Come prepared to share your experiences, learn from others, build connections, and contribute to conversations that will help shape OECTA’s ongoing Indigenous work. Your voice and participation are important.

We look forward to gathering with you.
