DBIA-WPR's Leadership at All Levels Session 4 focuses on the next subject of the Advancing Leadership Initiative following self-discovery and building skills with communication and addressing conflict. Session 4 - Curiosity is the cornerstone habit of every high-performing Design-Build team. When we lose it, we default to certainty-a fear-based instinct that shuts down exploration and innovation. Research from NASA shows we all start life as "curiosity machines," yet most of us lose that capacity as adults.
This session will show how to reignite curiosity at the individual and team level to unlock hidden genius, foster psychological safety, and transform conflict into collaboration. Through interactive exercises and real-world project examples, participants will learn how to harness curiosity to leverage the unique strengths of each team member-engineers, architects, and builders alike- so that 1 + 1 truly equals 3 in project value.
