Overview
The Tennessee Department of Education’s (TDOE) Preschool Access for All Learning Network (Preschool AALN) is focused on increasing inclusive, least restrictive environment opportunities for children ages 3 to 5 (not in kindergarten), increasing access to developmentally appropriate environments, and ensuring high-quality instruction for all students.

Important Logistics
- Most people will not need to attend both days of the training.
- Day 1 of the training will be focused on Specially Designed Instruction (SDI) and is intended for both General Education and Special Education Teachers.
- Day 2 of the training will be focused on IEPs and is intended for Special Education Teachers.
- Space is limited, so we encourage all to register as soon as the link is provided.
- Stipends, meals and mileage reimbursement are not provided.
Attendee Expectations / How to Prepare
- Register: Complete your registration to attend one of the regional events.
- Registration deadline: Specific to the training you are attending.
- Monitor Your Inbox: After registering, you will receive an automated copy of your registration submission via email. If you do not see it in your inbox, please check your spam/junk folders. If you still do not see it, please contact us.
- You will be sent an email a couple weeks prior to your event that contains parking and check-in information.
- Check the Times: Plan to attend the event in full. The training will take place from 8:30-4:30 local time.
- The times listed on the agendas will coincide with that region's time zone. Check your event agenda carefully to confirm the time zone.
- Let Us Know If Your Plans Change: If you are no longer able to attend, please contact us.
Agenda Overview
Each event will follow the same general agenda. Check in will open each day at 8 a.m., sessions will start at 8:30 a.m. with a one-hour break mid-day for lunch. All sessions are scheduled to conclude by 4:30 p.m.

Professional Development Credit
Professional development credit for these events will be awarded by AALN. Six (6) credit hours will be awarded for each day attended. Attendees must meet the following criteria in order to earn attendance credit:
- Check in when you arrive on site. Signatures on the check-in sheet are required both in the morning as you arrive for the day and upon your arrival back from the lunch break.
- Complete the overall event survey via the QR code at the end of the training.
