Science Frosh at McGill University is a four-day welcome week designed by the Science Undergraduate Society of McGill University for incoming students to the McGill and Montreal community. We aim to create a safe and inclusive environment where Froshies can foster connections and make lasting memories, kickstarting their journey at McGill University.

Designed for Science, Nursing, and Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy students, Science Frosh 2026 features a diverse array of events and activities so every participant can make meaningful memories to start their McGill experience off strong. The Science coordinators, leaders, and community can not wait to see you for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!

After starting off by meeting your Frosh group, you’ll spend the day enjoying fun games and activities before our first evening event: our science-only Game Night. On day 2, we’ll explore the Montreal and McGill community on our Montreal crawl, followed by an evening concert night with the Faculty of Arts Frosh! That’s just the first faculty you’ll meet, because Day 3 starts with our Interfaculty event at Montreal’s Parc Jean-Drapeau with all of the Faculty Frosh groups. During the evening, enjoy dance groups, artists, and bands at our Variety Show at Rialto Theatre. On the last day, we'll cruise through Montréal's Old Port before celebrating our closing party night with some of the other faculties at EVO Plaza.

This year, Science Frosh will be held from August 27th to August 30th, 2026.

Eligibility and Requirements

To be eligible to participate in Science Frosh 2026, you must be:

  • Incoming student in the Faculty of Science, Nursing or Physical Therapy & Occupational Therapy (PTOT)

If you are in another faculty, please see other Faculty Froshes.

  • Be 23 years old or younger as of August 27th, 2026 (no birthdays before August 27 2002)

Ticket Pricing and Registration

2026 Science Froshie Admission: $160 CAD

Tickets are available on a first come, first serve basis. There are a limited number of tickets available.

To confirm your registration for Science Frosh 2026, please register with the button provided on this page.

Please carefully read and acknowledge the Participant Terms & Conditions on the registration page before continuing with payment.

Upon online registration and payment, a confirmation email with further instructions will be provided.

2026 Science Frosh tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

The Science Undergraduate Society is proud to demonstrate our commitment to financial accessibility by offering Froshie ticket bursaries to participants facing financial constraints.

The deadline for bursary applications is August 17th, 2026, 11:59 PM EST
