He drew the borders of the ocean in sand.
The waves crest and fall at His bidding.
He times the tides to give rhythm to our days.
He lays the sun to rest beyond the horizon and sees what lies outside the reach of our vision.
The depth of the seas are no mystery to Him.
Whether in the midst of the storms
and raging winds,
or the still waters
and clear skies,
we trust the uncharted journey ahead to the hands of the One who created it all.
And we whisper again in wonder,
“Who is this, that even the wind and the waves obey Him?”
