The team approach to full-arch success: A restoratively driven masterclass

Lecture & hands-on, 1,500 SEK

Speakers: Marco Toia, Italy & Andrea Parpaiola, Italy

Move beyond single-unit principles and master the art and science of full-arch fixed restorations. This intensive, 4-hour pre-congress course is designed for the collaborative clinician-technician team. We will cut through the complexity to deliver a streamlined, restoratively driven protocol that emphasizes a true partnership between the clinic and the lab. You will leave with a predictable, step-by-step workflow that enhances clinical efficiency, reduces remakes, and allows you to confidently treat complex edentulous cases.

Learning objectives:

  • Implement a restoratively driven digital workflow to create a precise "prosthetic blueprint" before any surgical intervention.
  • Understand the protocol for accurate full-arch digital data acquisition using an intraoral scanner.
  • Compare and contrast the two primary final prosthetic pathways: the two-piece bar-retained superstructure and the one-piece monolithic restoration.
  • Execute a hands-on immediate conversion of a provisional prosthesis on a typodont model.
  • Master the clinical verification of a final titanium bar to ensure a perfectly passive fit.

Elevating outcomes: Advanced protocols and clinical mastery in guided surgery

Lecture & hands-on, 1,500 SEK

Speakers: Federico Rivara, Italy

Digital technologies have revolutionized implant dentistry, transforming it into a discipline driven by precision, integration, and biological respect. Beyond enhancing efficiency, digital workflows allow clinicians to merge radiographic, intraoral, and prosthetic data into a unified plan that optimizes implant positioning, load distribution, and soft-tissue stability. When correctly implemented, this approach ensures outcomes that are biomechanically reliable, biologically sustainable, and esthetically predictable.

This workshop will explore the scientific and clinical principles underlying computer-guided implant surgery, from virtual design to prosthetic execution.

Learning objectives:

  • Participants will review critical parameters affecting accuracy, identify potential sources of deviation, and gain evidence-based strategies to control them.
  • The hands-on component will provide practical experience in guided implant placement and the use of a prosthetic guide for immediate, precise adaptation of restorations, bridging digital design with clinical reality.
  • In the hands-on session, participants will practice advanced implant placement using a computer-guided surgical guide and perform immediate restoration with the aid of a corresponding prosthetic guide for precise and predictable adaptation

Mastering implant prosthetics: Choosing the right solution for immediate or delayed prosthetic rehabilitations

Lecture & hands-on, 1,500 SEK

Speakers: Giacomo Dallari, Italy

Digital technologies have become an irreplaceable tool to facilitate and streamwork implant planning and prosthetic rehabilitations. The prosthetic set-up can then be easily shared with the technician, who will produce temporary and definitive restorations according to the planning by using CAD-CAM technologies. Also the pre-surgical design of the proper emergence profile plays a keyrole in obtaining the optimal esthetic result together with the application of the one-abutment-on-time technique with the connect abutment. In the workshop, participants will have the chance to try on models the different prosthetic options in terms of final abutments doing a complete rehabilitation of an esthetic case using C1 implant, connect/MU abutment, temporary crown and emergence profile management.

Learning objectives:

  • Understand the role of digital technologies in implant planning and prosthetic rehabilitation.
  • Integrate CBCT, intraoral scans, and photos to plan implant position, occlusion, and prosthetic setup.
  • Merge intra- and extra-oral data to visualize esthetic outcomes and involve patients in treatment planning.
  • Collaborate with dental technicians using CAD-CAM workflows (3D printing/milling) to produce accurate restorations.
  • Design pre-surgical emergence profiles to support optimal esthetic results.
  • Apply the one-abutment-one-time concept using connect or MU abutments.
  • Perform guided implant placement on 3D printed models based on the digital prosthetic plan.
  • Finalize and adjust temporary restorations according to the digital workflow.

Limited seats available, admission to master classes can not be purchased separately from the congress registration.
