Course Description

As dental implants become a more widely accepted form of treatment, the patient’s knowledge and expectations are increasing. Implant dentistry has evolved over the past few years to accommodate the increasing esthetic demands and anatomical difficult situations. This lecture will cover how the surgical and restorative team can treatment plan, communicate, and employ new technologies and procedures to treat difficult implant cases.

At the completion of this course, participants will be able to:

• Have an enhanced understanding of treatment planning and communication between the surgical team and the restorative team.
• Have a better understanding of the technologically advanced prosthetic options that increase simplification, durability and predictability of our implant treatment.
• Understand the implant options for tooth replacement, including solutions for esthetics, partially edentulous and fully edentulous.
• Be able to decide the appropriate avenue in restoring individual cases to achieve optimal results.
