2026 Basic Clinic

Registration is $375 + CVent Fee

Registration for all participants and includes lodging, meals and instruction for 3 days.

Lodging options include an inside option with a twin bed and a foot locker or outside camping without electric or with electric for those that need medical devices.  

Bunkhouse lodging will have 4 people total per room each bunk has electricity and a foot locker.  You will have to bring your own bedding or sleeping bag and a pillow.  

Charging stations, showers, bathrooms, water bottle refilling stations, Air Conditioning and WiFi are available inside no matter your lodging choice. 

Please arrive between 4-6 pm for registration. Dinner is at 6 pm with an evening session after dinner.  After the evening session we will have a campfire. Be sure to bring a lawn chair and your preferred snacks and beverages.  

This is a three day fly-fishing clinic put on BY Women FOR Women, Hosted by Southern Wisconsin Trout Unlimited. Participants will learn: 

• How to choose proper equipment
• The art of the cast
• Learn how to identify the bugs in and on the water and choose a corresponding fly
• Begin to identify where fish are hiding  
• A passion for fishing trout in the Driftless Area

Participants must be 18 years or older.

Only support and service dogs allowed. 

Included in your fee:

• Meals (all meals and snacks for on the water)
• Loaner Fly Rod and Reel **if needed
• Clinic Instruction
• Guided fishing by women 'River Buddies'. These are women who have taken the clinics in the past and are passionate about getting new anglers on the water.
• Clinic SWAG

Payment must be made at time of registration.  We accept all major credit cards.

Scholarships

Wisconsin Women's Fly Fishing believes this sport should be accessible to all.  Therefore we offer partial scholarships if needed.

Those staying off site: If you choose to not stay on site please know we have a very full schedule to give you the most for your time.  We will provide a schedule for you so you know our basic timelines.  If you would like to stay off site we highly recommend the West Fork Sports Club and environmental club and campground (no reservations needed) about 6 miles (15 mins) on HWY S, located at S3649 County Rd S, Viroqua WI 54665  They have a cabin with a bathroom and a very nice Tiny house near the bathrooms.  https://westforksportsclub.org/camping/reservations/

Cancellation policy: We cannot offer refunds if you cancel.  We are a non-for-profit organization. We make every attempt to keep the registration costs as low as possible.  We depend upon every budgeted registration fee to be able to provide camping, facilities, meals, and equipment to our participants.
