This course offers a practical and evidence-based overview of contemporary endodontic instrumentation, covering (NiTi) metallurgy, heat treatment, instrument design, file failure, and the principles of reciprocation and continuous rotation. Participants will gain a clear understanding of the advantages, limitations, and clinical applications of both reciprocating and rotary systems.
Building on these foundations, the program explores system selection, instrumentation techniques, motor settings, irrigation protocols, and the management of common clinical challenges. The course concludes with an overview of modern obturation approaches, including thermoplasticised warm obturation and hydraulic condensation with bioceramic sealers, to help clinicians match the obturation technique to the canal shape created during instrumentation.
