The 62nd Annual Beaverdilly, along with our famed Golf and Tennis Tournaments, are on tap for August 12th and 13th at the Silverado Resort in the fabulous Napa Valley of California. As busy Beavers we have been listening and have some exciting updates this year. Check them out below! 

On Wednesday, August 12th, we will hold the Beaverdilly Golf Tournament. In addition to both Silverado courses, which fill up quickly, the 8 a.m. “Shotgun Start” will be held at Eagle Vines Golf Club. Again, this year there will be time set aside for golfers wishing to play a scramble format – a response to requests from more casual golfers who want to enjoy Silverado’s South Course. While the traditional tennis tournament will be the same, we have added Pickleball. We have space for 48 picklers. We'll play a round robin format of doubles and have an "A " and a "B" division. Sign up early! 

If not playing golf and tennis, attend the 3rd Annual Wine Networking event on-site at the Silverado from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. This will take place in the air-conditioned tent and includes wine tastings from various wineries, lunch and the opportunity to connect with 300 fellow Beavers! 

Women In Heavy Civil Construction will hold the 4th Annual Networking Reception from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.  The event will be held in the Silverado Mansion Tent. Tickets can be purchased and all are welcome to attend. A contribution to the Beavers Charitable Trust scholarship program of $25.00 is included in each Women in Heavy Civil Reception ticket.

On Thursday, we will hold the Beaverdilly, with enough games, tournaments, events and great food to keep our most eager members content. Don’t forget to sign up for Bocce Ball and Volleyball early. I would also suggest signing up early for the North vs South historical softball game. Don’t miss the exciting 18th Annual Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. A $100 contribution to the Beavers scholarship program is your buy-in, with gift certificates to the players reaching the final table. 

What better way to end the day than with friends, old and new, enjoying the traditional barbecue dinner Thursday evening on the Mansion Garden Lawn & Tent. (Please note this is a new location).
