About the Meeting

Join us April 16–18 in Orlando for the joint national meeting of the AAMC Group on Student Affairs (GSA), Group on Collaboration, Engagement, and Community (GCEC), and Organization of Student Representatives (OSR). This collaborative gathering brings together learners, faculty, administrators, and professional staff from medical schools and teaching hospitals across the nation to share priorities, explore effective strategies, and shape the current and future academic medicine environment.

This professional development opportunity is designed to strengthen the systems that support the success and well-being of learners and the professionals who work alongside them. Through plenaries, workshops, interactive sessions, and multiple networking opportunities, you’ll address emerging trends and challenges in academic medicine; explore innovative approaches to learner support, engagement, and retention; and gain tools to advance institutional collaboration and culture reflecting our shared commitment to cultivating excellence in medical education and supporting learners across the continuum.

Experience the combined strengths of three communities:

  • GSA brings together faculty and professional staff in admissions, student affairs and services, student financial assistance, student opportunities, access and retention, and student records to advance the expertise and impact of student services professionals.
  • GCEC supports institutions in fostering environments where people of all backgrounds and perspectives have an equal opportunity to thrive.
  • OSR represents medical students nationwide and plays an active role in advancing the AAMC mission to improve the nation’s health.
