Join us Friday, April 11th, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. with Readers 2 Leaders for a transformative Leadership Programs Community Day. As part of our 2025 focus on children and education in the Dallas Region, the DRC and participants will collaborate with community partners to make a lasting impact. 

Hosted by Norma Nelson, President & CEO of Readers 2 Leaders and Leadership Dallas Class of 2023 Alumnus, this hands-on event will provide volunteers with the opportunity to learn about Readers 2 Leaders’ impact and contribute by helping to create learning resources for their programs and assemble appreciation gifts for teachers and volunteers who work with organization.

*Readers 2 Leaders is a Dallas-based nonprofit that provides literacy tutoring in classrooms, after school and at their Booktown Learning Center. Because no single organization can stem the literacy crisis in our community alone, Readers 2 Leaders also provides coaching, consulting, and education opportunities to others leading children to literacy. Through tutoring and coaching, Readers 2 Leaders aims to give all Dallas students equitable opportunities to thrive as readers and leaders.
