Food Around Quebec

• The food at Rioux-Pettigrew was amazing and service was impeccable.
• I liked the La Bouche restaurant on St Louis and I suspect everyone loved Montmorency Falls!
• We dined at “The Hobbit”, an Italian place just at gate closest to the water, and  “le Continental “.  All were fabulous.

Activities Around Quebec

• My family loved touring the Citadel and getting a selfie with the royal goat!!  (Check out tours here.) We also loved food at hotel which was a surprise.
• I did a 3.5 hour bike with family around Quebec and St Lawrence River through Echosport you can rent bikes (3 bikes and a tandem only 135.00 CAD for 4.5 hours includes helmets and locks). You crossed a high bridge (Quebec bridge), through subdivisions, and pit stops at parks and restaurants. Sight seeing, food, and exercise wrapped into to one. Came back on ferry across river for about 25 mile ride. Was very tired at the end but would do it again. (Find the perfect bike tour here.) Also liked the Waterfall as well and exploring Le Vieux. Didn’t have a bad meal while I was there. I do notice that they practice portion control better than we do but since the food selection seemed better with more and better veggies you were full for longer. Liked the whole experience
• Parc du Bastion-de-la-Reine, just outside the Citadelle, has a great view of Le Chateau Frontenac and Dufferin Terrace.
• Activities: we are enjoyed the waterfalls (Check out the best Quebec waterfalls here.), Le Chateau Frontenac and old town just below the Chateau.
