Meet Our Keynote Speakers

NEW THIS YEAR, lunch is included with the registration fee. You will have four options:
· Buffet Luncheon with a speaker in the Grand Ballroom
· Buffet Luncheon with speakers in the Hawthorne Exhibit Hall
· Enjoy the Buffet Lunch at the Poolside Patio, or another quiet spot, without a presentation.
· Decline Buffet Lunch and dine on your own

PLEASE REGISTER FOR YOURSELF. If you are attending with a group of colleagues from the same school or institution, we ask that you register individually. You may all reference the same PO#, but please list all attendees on the PO.

There are several reasons for this.  First, your Annual MRA Standard, Student, or Retiree Membership is included with the Conference Registration fee. You will want MRA to have your current contact information. The second reason is to allow you to make your own Session, Meal, and Event Selections. Attendees will be able to pre-register for their choice of session for EACH time slot, as well as the traditional Keynotes, Special Ticketed Events, and Lunch options.

THOROUGHLY REVIEW the Wednesday Pre-conference Institute as well as the complete Thursday and Friday Schedules below, think about your first choice for each time slot, plan ahead for your lunch and event preferences, fit in some down time, and then click below to register. Best to register early as some sessions will fill up and close out by March. 

WEDNESDAY PRE-CONFERENCE INSTITUTE
$40 includes admission to Old Sturbridge Village on the 24th, the Institute in the Village from 3 PM to 7 PM, a light supper, and a copy of the publication Out of the Margins.

THURSDAY AND FRIDAY CONFERENCE
Fees below include all Keynotes, choice of one Breakout Session for each time slot, Buffet Lunch with speaker, and Coffee and Tea in the Hawthorne Exhibit Hall. 

Authors and Appetizers is optional and may be ordered when you register.

PAYMENT OPTIONS
~ If you are paying with a credit card, follow the instructions as prompted.
~ If paying by check, please type in check number and be sure to mail your check within five days to: MRA, PO Box 426, West Barnstable, MA  02668
~ If paying with a Purchase Order, please be sure to email (massreading@comcast.net) the Purchase Order within five days. If the PO has not been issued at the time of online registration, you may type “To Follow” and submit a copy of your Registration Email Confirmation to your School District Accounts Payable Department so they can email the PO to MRA as soon as possible.
~ If Splitting payment with your credit card and school Purchase Order, you may select your preferred speakers for each time slot, and also any meals or events you wish to attend. At the end, on the last page when asked for payment, select “Credit Card” and pay only for events or meals that are not part of the PO Registration Payment. You will see a note about submitting partial payments. 

CONFERENCE REFUND POLICY

*No-shows will be invoiced and subject to collection for the full amount.

*Communication regarding a registration cancellation must be received by March 15, 2024 at massreading@comcast.net​

*A  $60 cancellation fee will be assessed for cancellations between March 15 and March 30, 2024. ​

*NO REFUNDS will be granted for cancellations after March 30, 2024.​

*If necessary to transfer a registration from one attendee to another, the transfer must be done through communication with Event Coordinator Nancy Meagher via email: massreading@comcast.net
